![]() ![]() Blizzard first released a cinematic trailer and a sneak peek at a portion of Diablo 4’s gameplay. It looks like the team stayed true to their word. In November 2021, Blizzard announced on an earnings call that more time would be needed for the team to realize its vision for Diablo 4, pushing it to 2023 at the earliest. Blizzard co-founder Allen Adham confirmed to Game Informer that year that the fourth entry of the series was still in early development when it was announced, saying, “while we’ve been working on Diablo 4 for several years, we still have a ways to go.” Blizzard revealed its release date trailer during the 2022 Game Awards.ĭiablo 4 was originally announced at BlizzCon 2019. Activision Blizzardĭiablo 4 will launch on June 6, 2023. In the meantime, Blizzard is throwing more coals into the hype train’s engine with a new live action trailer, which you’ll find below.Diablo 4 is slated to launch sometime in 2023. As a reminder, unlike Diablo Immortal, Diablo 4 is a buy-to-play game and you’ll need to purchase a copy to actually get in. Everyone else will have to wait until the official global launch on Monday, June 5 th at 4 p.m. Those who pre-ordered the Digital Deluxe or Ultimate Editions will be able to return to Sanctuary ahead of the pack when Global Early Access kicks off at 4 p.m. Players who bought any of the available editions will be able to pre-download the game starting on the evening of Tuesday, May 30 th.
